Default Virtual hosting - 11-24-2009 , 03:15 PM

Exmasters.com is the company which provides cheap VPS for hosting adult web sites and they cost little indeed.
Do you know any other companies which offer the same?

Hello
Many people and businesses are getting their own domain names these days and wish to receive mail using these domain names. They can pay ISPs for this service, or they can do it themselves. This web page is a guide for the do-it-yourself people, describing how to use sendmail to accomplish virtual e-mail hosting. Some knowledge of sendmail, Un*x administration, and Internet protocols is assumed. The best source of information about sendmail is the book Sendmail, 3rd Edition.

This page has been translated into Slovak as well.
DNS Configuration

First, you need to obtain the new domain name and set up name servers for that new domain:

1. Choose an available domain name. In our example, we will use your domain.com.

2. Establish two machines as primary and secondary name servers for your domain. Knowledge of how to do this is assumed; otherwise, the book DNS and BIND, 4th Edition is highly recommended.

3. Configure MX records for your domain MX records are explained in the send mail book; the 2nd edition gives an overview in § 15.3 and describes how to configure them in § 21.3, whereas the third edition explains everything about them in § 9.3. You have two options for MX records:

If the mail server which will serve your new domain will have a full-time connection to the Internet, it should be the primary MX host for your domain.

Hosting companies which offer porns is not considered decent webhosting.

If yu need decent webhosting with vps there are plenty out of which few provide quality services with many offers like adwords and extra RAM.

Hello Friends.....

Virtual hosting is a much cheaper alternative to these two forms of hosting. By having many different webmasters use a single machine, the host is able to charge less money to provide server space and an Internet connection.

Since virtual hosting is usually targeted to smaller businesses, individuals, and those without much experience with network issues, it nearly always comes bundled with an assortment of services. These may include: help setting up a domain name, technical support, e-mail addresses, installation of server software, database assistance and even basic design services.

Thanks
