Hi,

I'd like to share my past experience on some of VPS hosting sites.

This is to prevent you from being ripped off or wasting your time and efforts on seeking your next VPS hosting site.

(1) www.adiungo.com
You will find many posts in numerous web hosting forums on horrible experiences from subscribers of the site.
Simply put, "ls" output takes several seconds.
Whatever simple shell command you type in and enter, you will have to wait for several seconds to see the output on the screen.
This should be enough to make you understand how fast and reliable the server is.
Good thing is that no hassle for refund! You get your money back but waste your time.

(2) www.xelhosting.com
Horrible support and bad attitude!
Hassle to get refund!
Don't even try out.

(3) Freerider.nl
Very sneaky site. Play around with several sites with different domain names.
Once you contact, you will be redirected to jronline.nl
Supporting person seemed to be on drug.
Very insecure server, and support is simply speechless.

(4) hosteurope.de
Supports sort of managed VPS environment.
Provides Plesk, Suse, Mysql, Apache, Php combo.
You get 24/7 support only at pre-sales and initial server set up stage.
After that, the turn around time is several days.
VPS server error! MySQL keeps crashing, and loading time for some of my pages were over 10 to 30 seconds with all the possible tunings.
The same web pages loaded within three seconds from my other vps hostings, without tunings.

They do not even reply on these physical server issues.
I sent several email but no reply at all.
I wasted initial server set up charge plus first month hosting fee.

BTW, Plesk only worked for 5 minutes when vps server was first set up.
It never worked thereafter.
I sent tons of emails, and found same "Service UnAvailable Errors" on their mission completed replies.
Hopeless hosting company!
Must be purchasing second hand, out of control, junky servers, and selling vps server packages on top of those.
