Default dedis from ServerPoint - 10-26-2007 , 09:27 AM

I need a dedi and when IO started to browse the Internet I have seen a good deal of offers over there. I tried to make out in this all but failed and asked my friends t help me in it. And they recommended me to use the service from ServerPoint.com. This company has been in web hosting business since 1998 and provides fully redundant network. And they don't resell from anybody.
So before signing up I'd like to hear the opinion of the community about them?
Any help would be appreciated.

The proven track of record is important, and the fact serverpoint.com have been in business for 9 years matters a lot. I'd also recommmend you to visit WHT to read the threads about the host you mention there and also use live chat option on serverpoint.com site to ask to their sales rep.

ServerPoint.com is very dedicated to applications and customize them greatly, such as WordPress, Gallery, Drupal web hosting.
They seem reliable for me.

Bonzay, he's going to get a dedicated server from serverpoint.com, so he will have to install all the applications himself.

What exactly are you going to host on your dedicated server? Which dedicated hosting package are you after?
I see that serverpoint.com offer a wide range of dedicated hosting packages from somewhat $70 up to $600.
Before choosing a plan, contact them to inquire if there's RAID solution.

Is RAID important to have on the dedi? ServerPoint.com offers RAID5 or RAID10 on the dedis.
I'm going to host a proxy site on the dedi.

RAID is a technique that helps you to turn a few disks into one disk with a more stable performance. It's worth going for a dedicated hosting solution with RAID. What level of Raid is offered in Serverpoint.com dedicated plans?

Go for Serverpoint.com or Rackspace.com, they offer excellent dedicated solutions, RAID is what you need to run your sites smoothly.

What RAID version is moire preferable to use from the web hosting company? As I see ServerPoint.com offers RAID 5 and RAID 10. What's the difference between them?
