Default HostV.com VPS? - 03-17-2008 , 10:54 AM

Hello guys!
Have you ever had any experience with them for their VPS servers ?
Can you PM your web site URL to check your web site and their service uptime?
I will highly appreciate any help.

You mat have decent VPSs from ServerPoint.com. This company proviodes them a lot and you may choose what you need. Leve1 support they provide.

HostV.com VPS deals seem to be rather enticing, I mean they offer double RAM and 50% off, they also have some specific offers like You Tube hosting.
As for Serverpoint.com VPS plans, think the positive thing about them is that they use their privately-owned datacenter which means extra stability.
Look into a number of VPS deals, it's also worth examining what's meant by management in each host's plans, as it deffers from one host to another.

The only thing which is not quite clear for me is what Level One support in Serverpoint.com plans about?

ServerPoint.com provides different levels of support for their clients depending on the plan you are using from them. More info about that could be found here.

Comapring these two web hosts I'd focus on the points:
HostV.com - very beneficial pricing, but since this is a one-time offer you will have to pay annually to get 50% off the deal. Think whether you like it or not.
Serverpoint.com offer VPS on the servers with RAID 10 and hosted in their own dc.
I also think you shouldn't limit your choice by these two companies only.

I guess you are right here.
I'd suggest you HostWW.net VPS solutions as they are rather cheap. Their VPS is container-based virtualization for Linux and each container performs and executes exactly like a stand-alone server; a container can be rebooted independently and have root access, users, IP addresses, memory, processes, files, applications, system libraries and configuration files.

Hello!
Thank you for all your inputs. I will learn all you suggestions. Do you really think that cheap VPS is a deal for me? To be honest I have the same point of view. And have been looking for cheap VPS as well. I have heard quite a lot of JustGotVPS.com and they seem offer really cheap prices. can it be an alternative?

I think HostV.com vps deal combines both affordable price and the number of advanced features like FFMPeg and Red5 installed, besides Cpanel plus Fantastico on a vps plan makes your life significantly easier.
