dot5hosting is a scam

its been 48 hours, no welcome email. 3 chats with operators, each saying they're sending info to my gmail account. zip, nada, nothing. Now they say 'oh, we can't send the welcome and login details until after the weekend' completely reversing what they said minutes before.

scam? I think so. I"m out $67 and a domain. not to mention waste of time and money since I'm not getting my work done.

perhaps they have something wrong with their server hmm, anyway you seeking another host? So far I have yet to do research on dot5hosting

I could accept server problems but that's not what they are telling me.

Heh, I had problems sending emails to gmail a while ago for some reason the automated email wouldn't send, that was weird, but they might have the same problem, doubt it, but yeh, if you paid via paypal, contact paypal until they reply, if you paid via 2CO you might have a chance, contact them, if any other merchant like paymate, worldpay etc, just contact them and see...
