Default network - 06-24-2008 , 01:14 PM

Serverpoint.com architecture from server to the Internet, is as follows:

* Servers are connected to edge Cisco or Foundry switches
* Each edge switch is connected to two independent core switches
* Each core switch, besides being connected to each other, is connected to an independent router
* Their routers are each connected to independent Internet providers, coming into our building through separate areas and through independent underground fiber lines.
Is this a standard scheme of the company's infrastructure?

Not always. Some companies have the other infrastructure.
ServerPoint.com has their own datacenter and it's a big plus as they may organize their network infrastructure in the best possible way.

Only having their own datacenter ServerPoint.com provides such stable network and their personnel is of a high tech nature. They also extend their services and that is a big plus for them too.

I agree Serverpoint.com 's infrastructure is one of the most solid, their privately-owned datacenter and network providers allows them to deliver stable services at competitive prices.
