Default what is better to use for blogging? - 08-19-2008 , 01:54 PM

I have decided to to run my blog with downtownhost.com.
Their shared plans as well as blog hosting seem appealing. Which one is better to use - shared or blog hosting?
What would you choose?

I think there is no major difference between blog hosting and shared one, except for maybe some pre-installed software, which make the certain server work good for hosting a blog. downtownhost.com has put this in separate plans, while Webhostgiant.com has included everything in one shared plan. No actual matter

I can suggest you to look at Marblehost.com offers. They have qualitative hosting service and they are specializes on delivering only shared hosting plans. And you will get free domain as a discount if you buy any hosting plan.

Webhostgiant.com is good for that kind of hosting: cheap, rather reliable and provides needed software for hosting blogs forums and galleries. Plans start at 2.79/mo. I think that is a good option...

Blogging from webhostgiant.com is quite appealing.
Does this company provide any discount on their services?

I can share a discount on webhostgiant.com service: FormReferral-01. It's a onetime 10% discount on hosting.
Which one have you chosen from them - Linux or windows?

I think that you can use any PHP/Mysql web host. Just make sure that correct versions of PHP/Mysql are supported. I'm sure that you will be happy with companies like dreamhost.com or webhostgiant.com.

If you have already decided to go with downtownhost.com - the company which provide specialized blog hosting, I в щ not see any need to ask, where to host your blog. BLOG hosting for sure!

If you have made your final decision, I can recommend you A2hosting.com to host a blog. They have superb reputation and you will have a wonderful experience with them. You will be able to buy hosting plans at moderate prices.

If you decided to host a blog with downtownhost.com which provides special blog hosting - I see no logic in your question. It is always better to get advanced hosting plan for special content.
